rural North America
Founders Nova Covington and Paul Halter spent their respective childhoods in rural America and developed a respect for nature. Years later they formed the environmentally benign company Goddess Garden and have recently secured $3 million Series A funding round led by Vancouver venture capital firm Renewal Funds.

"We want to make as big an impact as we can," said Nova Covington, founder and CEO, in a statement.

Covington also revealed plans to launch an affiliated nonprofit in 2017 to help protect coral reefs and educate the public about the effects that chemicals in non-organic sunscreens can have on wildlife and natural habitats.
